On Saturday, our GS paddlers set off from the club in our Rocket K4 for a 10 mile paddle to Banbury and back. This is no mean feat for our youngest of paddlers, especially as the temperatures dropped considerably at the weekend. They were well supported by coach Paul, some of our older juniors and parents who paddled along with them. They were fuelled along the way with hot chocolate and sausage rolls and even more hot chocolate on their return to the club.
