The club was 3rd at the recent Thames Valley Hasler, hosted by Wokingham Canoe Club. It proved to be a very successful day for the Flack family, with Annelies and Robin coming 2nd in Div 3 K2, whilst their parents were 2nd in Div 4 K2 (Andy, with Max D) and 3rd in Div 8 K2 (Tamsen with Kim D).
There was a win for Seamus C and Shaun H in Div 3 K2, despite Seamus coming straight from a night-shift at hospital (who needs to sleep anyway?), and a 2nd place for Jasper in Div 6, with a well-deserved promotion to Div 5. Catherine B was our only Lightning paddler, but she held her own for 2nd in the U12 Girls K1.
