Whilst we wait for the Southern Region races to start, a group went off to Anker Valley on Sunday to enjoy the sunshine, and take on the might of the Midlands Clubs again.
After their wins at Leamington, Izzy Bayliss (U12 Girls) and Robin Avery with Jerry Haycock (Div 4 K2) repeated their successes. Joining them at the top of the podium this time were Andy Moxon (Div 8 K1 and promotion to Div 7) and Felicity Dyndor with Charlie Penney (Div 7K2).
The Petersen family recorded a set of second places, with Joe taking the honours in Div 1, and his parents, Chris and Simon in Div 7 K2. There was also a promotion to Div 8 for Rachel Temple-Fry in her first race, and a 4th and 5th in Div 3 for Robin Flack and Luke Johnson, and 10th in Div 7 for Dawn Simpkins
