Christmas Relay

The hotly contested annual Christmas relay had to be delayed this year as the canal was frozen in the weeks before Christmas. We were finally able to run it on New Year’s Eve, burning off some excess energy before our parties later on. Unusually this year even with the usual Le Mons start and competitive racing lines no one took an unplanned swim. The teams were well matched and everyone came home within 2 minutes of each other before warming up with bacon butties, tea and cakes.
