Our annual awards evening was terrific fun. We heard from club member Joe Petersen about his experience of kayaking from starting as a 13 year old to his successes as a Division 1 paddler and experiences of long distance racing in the Devizes to Westminster race and the Sella. After a delicious curry, we celebrated all our achievements over the last year and awarded blue noses and t shirts to those juniors who had braved training sessions over the cold winter months.
