We’re very proud that last week we were announced as a British Canoeing Talent Club – one of just 10 sprint clubs from around the country to be accepted into this partnership.
The partnership has been created to provide additional investment, engagement, resources and support to performance focused slalom and sprint clubs and club coaches. This additional funding will benefit all our members, enabling us to both invest more in our existing coaching base, as well as further helping our junior paddlers who making their way up the Olympic sprint pathway. As a family-based club, it is vital to BDCC’s overall success that we can offer something for everyone. For some that might be competing at the highest level; for others it’s about developing their coaching – the skills and qualifications, which they can take with them and use throughout their life, both on and off the water.
