It’s that time of year when we swap paddles for pans, and raise money for the club. With Fairport Convention having their annual festival in Cropredy, we have the wonderful opportunity to convert the clubhouse into a kitchen, and cook and serve breakfasts for the weekend. We’re incredibly lucky to have this fund-raising opportunity – without it we would probably have to double our membership fees. We’re also lucky that the whole club really works together, and there are jobs for everyone. Last year we even had to employ brolly-holders to keep the food dry on its way from the kitchen to the table – fingers crossed for better weather this year.
